The Design Magazine

Form is owned by Föreningen Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) and has been published in Sweden since 1904, which reputedly makes it the world’s oldest design magazine. By virtue of its pivotal position in the Swedish world of design, the magazine is well-informed regarding current developments and talking points among designers and producers.

Form’s contributors are some of the best Swedish writers on furniture, industrial design, fashion, furnishing, graphic design and art, and the photography is riveting. Independent and committed, knowledgeable and up to date – Form is making a significant contribution towards design for a sustainable world.

The magazine now has a new publisher, Arvinius Förlag, and its Chief Editor, Staffan Bengtsson, is a well known design columnist and television producer of design and architecture programmes.

As a member of Svensk Form, a prenumeration of FORM is included.
