The bar opens at 19.30 and the speakers starts exactly at 20.20 as all over the world. Pecha Kucha is now in over 235 cities around the world. Welcome to an inspiring night with lots of fun and opportunity to meet interesting people.

Design S
Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design), SVID (the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation) and the Advertising Association of Sweden, are the founders of the Design S/Swedish Design Award, Sweden's biggest design award.
The award singles out successful design and rewards creative solutions to problems. The award demonstrates that good design can give us better communcation, better sustainability, better functionality and better business. With the award we want to tell Sweden and the world that Swedish design can give added value to individuals, companies and organisations, and that good design is crucial, not least to a country's competitiveness.
The award focuses on problem solving with the aid of design - whatever the design discipline. The 2008 edition focuses in particular on design for sustainable development. At stake are issues like climate, the environment, the welfare of society and our long-term quality of life. One of the aims behind the award is to convince the world that good design helps to develop society as a whole.
