Front
Front is a design group of four women: Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken, Anna Lindgren and Katja Pettersson. All members are involved in the design process from the initial discussions and ideas to the final product. Their works are based on joint discussions, exploration and investigation into different topics. The final products often communicate a story to the observer about the design process, about conventions within the product field, or about the material of which it is made.
Since they started in 2003, Front has produced a collection of furniture based on various animals, a collection of products where part of the design was determined by external factors, a magic collection, sketch furniture and interiors and experimental glass with crystals.
