Lotta Kühlhorn
Lotta Kühlhorn, 46 years of age, lives and works in Stockholm. Since the 1980’s she has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator.
Lotta creates around 40 book covers per year. Often she designs both the picture and the typography.
She also makes patterns and illustrations for various clients such as advertising agencies, newspapers and patterns for material for such stores as IKEA.
Lotta Kühlhorn by Retro etc., is a line of various products - such as tea cups, shelf edging, shelf liners, etc.- with Lotta’s design, which Lotta, together with a friend, produces and sells.
Lotta is inspired by fashion, films, architecture and furnishings. She is currently working on a illustrated book, new patterns and a number of book covers. Lotta enjoys working hard, intensively and intuitively.
