Sara Szyber
Sara Szyber explores various expressions of form in a wide range of projects including exhibitions, products and interior design.
She has been involved in such a diverse range of work as designing "Play!" - an exhibition for children, that has toured across Europe (Moscow, Berlin, Belgrade etc.), through being the auteur for a long range of original, typically scandinavian-style furniture-design, distributed all over the world through Design House Stockholm, to being commissioned as an architect to create the interiors of for example The Swedish Police Museum and The Gotland Visitor’s Centre. For Exquise design (France) she has designed Pleasure-String – a wearable hands free silicon lovetoy, to be launched during 2010.
Sara Szyber is the exhibition designer for 17 Swedish Designers, and participates in it with tables from Design House Stockholm, "Metal Queen" vases in lacquered steel, and her sloping "Skew Glass" series, designed to appear to be under a dubious influence...
Mrs. Szyber does her own manufacturing and also works with established producers. Her business partners include Futurniture, Design House Stockholm, NC-möbler, Svensk Form, Riksutställningar (Swedish Travelling Exhibitions), Skarp/Forsman & Bodenfors, Exquise design (France), Palliser (Canada) and Askul (Japan).
