Pascale Cottard-Olsson

Pascale Cottard-Olsson founded Gallery Pascale in 1996. She is French and came to Sweden for love. In Sweden she felt passionately in love with Nordic design and opened the first gallery in design in Stockholm. She was the first to present young women designers in her gallery. In 2006, when the gallery celebrated its 10th anniversary, Pascale decided to make a book about these young Swedish female designers. 17 Swedish designers chez Pascale was born. All these 17 Swedish designers became very successful in different design fields: textile, furniture, ceramics, graphic in all over the world.

The texts in the books are written by Pascale as well as  by the most knowledgeable design journalists from Sweden: Ulf Beckman, Dan Gordan, Hedvig Hedqvist, Susanne Helgesson, Lotta Lewenhaupt, Rebecka Tarschys, Kerstin Wickman.
Gallery Pascale exhibits as well as produces exclusive design objects by both established and up and coming Scandinavian designers. “Collection” consists of unlimited serie of designed objects for home interior as well as  jewellery.  Selections is a limited serie of special products made by selected designers that work closely with Pascale.
